This was a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable challenge to photograph as the cockpit of the helicopter simulator was pretty cramped and the lighting was very flat with reflections coming from the projected scenery. Using a mixture of ambient and artificial lighting I was able to bring the cockpit to life and add some extra visual interest.
Cinema rooms are becoming a more and more popular addition to many houses, allowing for the big screen experience at home. This project was something really special as the sound quality was, in my opinion, better than any cinema I’ve been to!

I recently had the pleasure of photographing S/Y Lily at berth in Torquay Marina and from the water in Torbay. Having grown up on the sea it's really special for me to be able to work all different kinds of watercraft like this Bavaria Yachts Cruiser 46. She is beautiful inside and out and a real joy to watch sail past!
The brief for this shoot was simple, capture the style, quality and atmosphere of a new student housing development in Exeter.
Having worked for a high end London estate agent, I was able to use my experience to capture this luxurious studio apartment in just a few hours and have the images fully edited and supplied to the client within a very tight time frame.
I was asked to photograph this beautiful timber barn which sits within Dartmoor National Park.
The clients, Carpenter Oak, wanted images that stood out and showed off the beauty of the timber Frame. I was keen to capture the open space and abundance of glazing that the frame has created, as well as the beautiful glow of light that is produced in the evening.
It’s not every day that you get to work in such a beautiful setting so i wanted to make the most of the evening light, even waiting a bit later to get some stars in there too!
Having previously worked with New British Design and Kudhva to photograph the sleeping pods, the brief was to create a similar set of images for the new Carlsberg Bar built on site.

Astley Media, working on behalf of an estate agent, commissioned me to create eye-catching images of this property to help the listing stand out from the crowd. The agents already had some existing interior images so there was a real focus on exterior angles and capturing the views out.
One of the hardest elements of this shoot was capturing the full elevation, while minimising the impact of the building behind the plot. This was achieved by shooting from a low angle and creatively framing shots to focus more on the building itself.
I was approached by the clients to capture these amazing treetop shelters for architectural press. Located in a quarry in North Cornwall, Kudhva (meaning 'Shelter' in Cornish) is a collection of these beautiful structures on stilts.
The dense woodland and unique angular design posed a number of issues initially but enabled me to capture some striking images and i'm thrilled with the results!
This stunning home in New Polzeath, Cornwall, sits on the cliffs overlooking the beach below. At the heart of the house, and the first thing you are greeted with upon entering, is a gorgeous spiral staircase with a double height window behind. This offers a changing dynamic throughout the day as the sun creates bold shadows that play on the curves.
Because of the challenging location I had to use a 10m mast to capture external images of both the house and the grounds.
One of the perks of working with good design firms is having the opportunity to shoot places like this! Touch are a firm of designers who specialise in kitchens and bespoke joinery. This was my second commission with Touch and there's always a huge range of interesting details and materials to shoot! I look forward to continuing this relationship in the future.
I was asked to quickly capture the communal areas of this modern family home in Cornwall. Originally designed as an extension to an existing bungalow, this design makes the most of the natural light and creates a nice blend of open communal spaces and more cosy private spaces.
